After postponing their wedding in April this year, on Friday the 9th of October my sister Emillie & my now brother-in-law Joe were married! I’ve never had the privilege of being able to photograph a wedding up until now - i’m unsure whether we can count this as one but this weekend made me realise what great joy it brings, not only to the couple and their family but genuinely to myself. Perhaps i’m slightly bias as it is my own family but I absolutely loved it. I wanted to keep it as honest and real as possible and try to capture the ceremony with the warts, masks, distancing and all. It will be a funny event to look back on in years to come. Registry offices unfortunately aren’t the most visually pleasing but black & white covers a multitude of sins.
Here are a selection of shots from their short registry office wedding and post ceremony in the car park, and park. As a member of the family I wanted to display them all here to enable my family to access the photos from where they are.
